Are you into digital 2D/3D or traditional art? Then you simply can’t miss the Create a Monster contest! Take part in the contest, share your amazing work with the community, and get a chance to win up to $1200.
Contest Duration and Prizes
The contest goes live on our new art platform for creative Standoff 2 players on October 7 and ends on November 5 at 23:59 UTC+3.
And here are the rewards:

The top half of the most upvoted entries will receive a reward from us: Shield 8 Years
Standoff 2 developers will handpick the top 3 winners, and the YouTuber Mammoth, our seasoned judge for creative contests, will decide who gets the 4th and 5th places. All the winners will also receive Shield 8 Years.
We’ll announce the results of the contest on our art platform.
Also, the poll for the best work submitted for this contest will be on from November 6 through November 13. Every Standoff 2 player will be able to vote for the creative work that appeals to them the most. At the end of the poll, the top half of the most upvoted entries will receive a reward from us: Shield 8 Years

What You Need to Do for the Contest

Feel free to create your work using traditional, 2D, or 3D art

Demonstrate elements of thriller and horror in your creative work

Show a monster who got into the world of Standoff 2!

Choose the setting. It can be any recognizable location from Standoff 2. Then make it mysterious and eerie for contest purposes

Add characters. They can be any Standoff 2 heroes and villains, and your monster, of course

Show us your work in progress. Take screenshots/photos of your work and send us the first draft and 1 or 2 intermediate stages of completion. Follow this guide to learn more.
Get your creative juices flowing and create a unique monster! Think outside the box and ask yourself a few questions like:

What does this creature look like?

Is it a demon, mutant, or something else?

Is it intelligent?
-
Is it an aggressive beast that charges into battle, or a stealthy hunter that attacks its victims from the shadows?

What it’s a swarm of monsters?
Be original and come up with a creature that no one has ever seen before!
Show us your monster in action in your artwork, displaying how it interacts with the world and Standoff 2 characters. Showcase a fight scene, a pursuit, or something different. And, most importantly, make sure your creative work matches the atmosphere and the mood of the contest.
Please note:

You should create the entire artwork yourself (including the monster, characters, and location). No AI artworks are allowed.

Your final work should feature the current game logo, your signature, and completion date. It should not contain any watermarks

Your artwork should comply with the Creative Contest Rules

You’re welcome to use the materials included in the Standoff 2 Art Collection (this step is not required)
Important: only one entry per author will be accepted for the contest.
Submission and Moderation of Your Creative Work
Upload your final work and screenshots/photos of its intermediate stages of completion to our Standoff 2 art platform. It’ll take us some time to moderate your work (around 3 days). When the moderation is complete, your work will be either approved and displayed among the other contest entries, or rejected. To ensure successful moderation of your creative work, please read this guide. Make sure to familiarize yourself with it before taking part in the contest.
